On October 17th, 2004 the day after this photo was taken, Mustafa was killed in an ambush when an RPG struck his vehicle...the "follow-up" vehicle. Mustafa did his job well. Under attack he fought back in the kill zone, took control of the site, and gave his life so the American client would live. Mustafa died defending Americans that he did not even know. He literally gave his life for an unknown client. The vehicle he is standing in front of contained two clients, and was itself rendered "dead in the water" in the hit. But the clients made it back alive...unscratched.
